Fans of Luxe Collective, the preloved luxury disruptors, showed their enthusiasm and dedication by queuing from 7.30am on Saturday 15th July, to visit the brand’s first pop-up store in London. The opening weekend at The Royal Exchange was a resounding success, with hundreds of fans flocking to the store.
“The opening weekend was a huge success! It was amazing to see so many people turn out. Some people queued from 7:30 in the morning and waited up to 2.5 hours to get inside! It really shows the power of the LC brand.” – Oliver Millar, Operations Director.
Before the public opening, Luxe Collective hosted a Press Launch Party on Friday 14th July, that garnered significant attention. The event was attended by esteemed guests such as HYPEBEAST, eBay, Lyst, and Condé Nast, among others. This gathering not only raised awareness about the brand but also served as a celebration of this important milestone.
Adding to the allure of the launch event, Luxe Collective partnered with AU Vodka, who provided custom cocktails during the press event and refreshing ice lollies throughout the weekend. This collaboration created a vibrant atmosphere and enhanced the overall experience for attendees.
“It was great to meet and chat with a variety of different publishers about Luxe Collective, the pop-up store and our future plans. Its invaluable to hear what external people, who only see Luxe Collective through our content, think about the brand.” – Oliver Millar, Operations Director
Avid followers of Luxe Collective’s social media channels had the unique opportunity to meet Co-Founder Ben Gallagher and explore the store. These dedicated fans queued for hours, eager to talk with Ben and experience the luxury offerings firsthand. Ben Gallagher, showing his gratitude, personally engaged with fans who had travelled from different parts of the UK.
“I’m absolutely speechless. This opening weekend was crazy, it was wild to see how many people came out of their way to visit the store. I tried to speak to every single person I possibly could, to just thank them for coming and for all the support they’ve shown us since the beginning of Luxe Collective.” – Ben Gallagher, Co-Founder.
The opening weekend was not only a hit with the attendees but also proved to be a commercial success for Luxe Collective. Sales were already being made, and the brand received high praise on various social media platforms. The pop-up space spans two floors, showcasing the very best pieces from Luxe Collective’s collection and will remain open for three weeks, until Wednesday 9th August 2023, providing visitors ample opportunity to buy and sell luxury pieces.
This milestone marks the exponential growth of Luxe Collective since its humble beginnings in 2018. Thanks to the success of a loyal social following across TikTok and Instagram, Luxe Collective has gone from turning over £300K to being on track to hit £7.5M revenue this year. This growth has extended to a team of 25 and the development of a new commercial unit, that Luxe Collective will occupy from early 2024.
